Starr Sackstein is an assessment reform geek, deeply committed to empowering students and assessing with respect. She has written many educational books and helped to publish several others lifting the voices of other authors. Sackstein was a HS English teacher in NYC schools for 16 years, a lead Humanities learner on Long Island and now works as a consultant around the assessment process.
