Joe Sutorius is the Chief Information Officer for the East Irondequoit Central School District, where he is currently enjoying his 20th year. Prior to working in K-12 education he had the opportunity to apply his information technology skill sets in the banking, manufacturing, insurance and health care industries. An avid programmer, Joe developed some ground breaking mobile device software solutions before the advent of smart phones. In the area of school safety and security, he has been working closely with law enforcement over the last four years on ways to use emerging technologies to enhance preparedness for school related emergencies. He has also assumed a leadership role in guiding his school district on its journey towards digital conversion.
